You will need:
Granby’s Breakfast Bap
- 2 Granby Premium Pork Sausages
- 3 Slices of Granby Country Recipe
- Pudding Black or White (or both!)
- 1 Locally sourced fresh egg
- 1 of your favourite floury baps
- Your top choice tomato relish
- Handful of fresh green leaves to garnish
- Knob of butter
Method:
On a pan, heat your butter until melted then add your Granby Premium Pork Sausages to the pan. Turn regularly for 10-12 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. 6 minutes into your sausages cooking time add your choice of Granby Country Recipe Pudding to the pan. Turn your slices of pudding every 3-4 minutes until nice and crisped on both sides.
Remove your Granby sausages and pudding from the pan but be sure to leave behind all the delicious frying juices!
Crack the egg into the pan being careful not to break the yolk. Our top tip is to always crack an egg into a cup before adding it to the pan to avoid any broken yolks! Fry the egg until the white is solid while keeping the yolk soft, the best way to enjoy our breakfast bap. While the egg is frying add the bap face down to the pan to heat it through until toasted being careful not to let it burn.
Remove the cooked egg and toasted bap from the pan. Smear your bap with plenty of your chosen relish. Add your slices of Granby Country Recipe Pudding. Slice your Granby Premium Pork Sausages down the center and place on top. Slide your egg over the sausages and garnish with green leaves.
Pop the top of the bap over the egg and enjoy. Watch out for the runny yolk!
